WHA International: Data-driven oxygen safety


For over 30 years, WHA International, Inc. has helped clients understand, evaluate, and mitigate hazards and fire risks associated with oxygen, hydrogen, and other hazardous fluids.

The company, based in Las Cruces, New Mexico, prides itself on a data-driven approach to oxygen safety, building its expertise on over 30 years of testing, data, and failure analysis. 

Many of its engineers, including CEO Barry Newton Ph.D., came from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) where they were involved in the development of NASA test systems for compatibility testing and qualification of materials and components used in the Shuttle Orbiter and International Space Station (ISS) programmes.
