Woodfibre LNG unveils Net Zero plan

Woodfibre LNG wants its 2.1 million tonnes per annum LNG export facility located in Squamish, British Columbia, to achieve Net Zero emissions by the time operations start in 2027.

The Pacific Energy subsidiary laid out its goal in its newly released publication, Roadmap to Net Zero, that includes commitments to be Net Zero both through the construction stage of the project and during operations.

If achieved, the effort would put Woodfibre LNG 23 years ahead of government regulations.

Christine Kennedy, President of Woodfibre LNG, says that achieving Net Zero also allows the company to advance the global energy transition.
