1. Recycling and Waste Diversion: Worthington maintains a dedicated team focused on recycling and reusing nearly 100 percent of scrap steel, successfully diverting 97 percent of total waste from landfills.
2. Carbon Footprint Reduction: The company has significantly reduced its greenhouse gas emissions intensity (Scope 1 and 2 emissions per $1,000/revenue) by 36% compared to levels tracked in CY20. Worthington remains committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
