Yara and Navigator invest in Norwegian ammonia bunkering project
Yara Growth Ventures, the venture investment arm of Yara International ASA (together, Yara) and Navigator Holdings Ltd (Navigator) today announced they have each acquired a 14.5% interest in the Norwegian start-up Azane Fuel Solutions AS (Azane).
The companies have jointly invested $5.7 million in a strategic partnership with ECONNECT Energy and Amon Maritime’s joint venture, founded in 2020.
This collaboration marks a pivotal step in creating the world’s pioneering ammonia bunkering network, with a confirmed order of 15 bunkering units by Yara Clean Ammonia.
