Strong participation seen at MIOGE event in Russia

Up to 30,000 visitors were seen under one roof in Moscow recently, when the oil & gas community came together for MIOGE, Russia’s largest oil & gas exhibition.

Since its launch in 1993, MIOGE has established itself as a leading event for the Russian energy market – and this year’s event didn’t disappoint.

As one of the top ten oil & gas shows in the world, MIOGE 2010 was the 11th annual edition of the event and took place at the Expocentre Exhibition Centre from 21st to 24th June. This year, up to 1000 exhibitors occupied the 20,000 m² exhibition space and around 30,000 trade visitors from 36 countries.

MIOGE is seen as Russia ’s key marketplace for business, with the 2010 exhibition held alongside the 8th Russian Petroleum and Gas Congress. Those attending were able to showcase to and meet with the world’s suppliers to the oil and gas industry as they bid for an increasing share of the large, dynamic and lucrative Russian market.
