Subsea7 recently awarded iGAS the turnkey contract associated with a new gas supply and distribution system for the Borealis pipe lay vessel.
The contract incorporates the full engineering, design, supply, installation and commissioning of four key assets. As such, iGAS will generate and distribute oxygen, acetylene and welding gas. Furthermore, iGAS will also provide and distribute on-board propane supply manifolds.
According to the contract winner, iGas, the firm was chosen thanks to its experience in delivering gas and supply distribution, technology and turnkey projects throughout Europe and beyond, in addition to utilising cost effective and advanced technology and design.
