Technifab Products Incorporated is now making a line of cryogenic valves that comply with ASME B16.34, for those customers that need their cryogenic systems to meet the ANSI/ASME B31.3 piping code.
Technifab is a leading manufacturer of cryogenic transfer equipment and has been producing products in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for over 11 years.
The company is now providing a series of cryogenic valves which comply to ASME B16.34-2004 – a standard that deems more strenuous design, manufacturing and testing requirements. This includes the stipulation that a valve must have a stem retention design, which prevents stem removal if the stem seal nut is removed while pressurized.
