Dr. Terje Martin Halmø is currently active as an independent consultant through his company Terica and as Adjunct Professor - Gas Value Chain at the Department of Petroleum Technology, University of Stavanger, Norway. Terje retired from Statoil in 2008 and has spent 25 years in the Oil & Gas industry working for companies such as Statoil, Elf Aquitaine and Total.
Halmø will be speaking about distributive LNG and how it can be viewed as a business opportunity. He will be examining the mega-trends that have kick started this new business and the technical reasons for this to be sustainable. This will include how LNG has become a product in its own right, as a development from the time it was purely a means of transportation.
