When Brooklyn-based Breeze Demolition was awarded the contract to dismantle the 44-year-old home of the New York Mets, they knew they had a daunting task. The massive steel and concrete structure, filled with lingering memories of heartbreak, miracles, and triumph, needed to be taken down with class, style, and efficiency.

Breeze called upon Maspeth-based AWISCO Corp (www.awisco.com), its supplier of choice for welding supplies and compressed gases, to provide a solution for the large volumes of cutting gases needed with minimal cylinder handling, changeover, and downtime. Breeze knew that the “AWISCO Advantage,” AWISCO’s combination of technical expertise, incomparable service, and vast resources, would find the right products for the job.
