The Global LNG Forum of 2011 begins

Today represents a key day in the 2011 LNG calendar, as industry figures gather from across the globe to attend the Global LNG Forum 2011.
Taking place this year in Barcelona, Spain at the Melia Barcelona Hotel, event organisers promise a packed agenda alongside a litany of key speakers.
The annual event kicked-off earlier today and will continue through tomorrow, 3rd February 2011. Hosted by Jacob Fleming Conferences, the 2011 event is expected to offer comprehensive coverage of several key topics. These include a review of the different business strategies and business models of LNG, as well as exploring the future of LNG both in terms of investment potential and new technologies.
The two-day conference is seeing sponsorship from Pöyry, KEMA and PwC. While key speakers include Ian Cronshaw, Head of Energy and Diversification at the International Energy Agency in France; Pierre Cotin, Vice President of Strategy Development and Sales at ELENGY, in addition to many more figurative members of the LNG community.
