22 PSA oxygen generating plants have been installed across Delhi by the Uttam Group of Companies in a joint venture with the Delhi Government.
In an attempt to revolutionise the way oxygen has been procured and delivered, the plants are designed to increase the ease by which medical grade oxygen can be supplied to government hospitals, making the hospitals far less reliant on other sources for obtaining medical oxygen.
Boasting a combined capacity of 13,000 cubic meters per day, these medical oxygen generators can increase capacity according to the rising demand of oxygen.
In an attempt to produce even more oxygen at a lower cost and also minimise any carbon footprint, the EN ISO: 13485 certified plants can generate oxygen by absorbing atmospheric air, while also being far easier to maintain and operate.
Speaking about the inauguration of the plants, Anand Sharma, Vice President of Marketing of Uttam Group of Companies said, “Uttam has been in the forefront of introducing state of the art equipment in the health care segment in India.”
“Be it aluminium-alloy cylinders or medical-grade oxygen generators, we have been there to serve the nation.”
“These generators could not have come at a better time. We hope that these generators bring succor to the residents of Delhi.”
Reacting to the dire need for medical grade oxygen in India due to the ‘second wave’ of the Covid-19 pandemic, Uttam Group managed to provide and install the generators within a time frame of just six weeks.
