Atkins has successfully won a $19.3m (AUD) flow assurance contract for the INPEX-operated Ichthys Project, offshore of Western Australia.
The gas will be exported to onshore processing facilities in Darwin, Northern Territory, via an 889km pipeline and processed through a LNG processing plant.
Atkins’ scope of work includes flow assurance, systems engineering and ad-hoc process engineering support through Execute Stage to initial start-up, for international oil and gas E&P company, INPEX.
Nick Wells, Operations Director for Atkins’ Oil and Gas business in Perth, commented, “This is a significant four-year contract for Atkins, drawing on the expertise and experience from our Perth office and our international hubs in the UK and Houston for what is undoubtedly a world-class gas project.”
