UK-based iGas Technlogy Solutions has enjoyed a busy few months, with new contracts signed, the completion of a new system for a customer, and a change in location.

February saw iGAS complete an Automatic Tanker Analysis (ATA) System for a major UK customer, designed to analyse quality of product in Cryogenic Road tankers and storage vessels.

The system was designed such that tanker drivers start and stop the process and minimal interface is required with the air seperation unit (ASU) operators.

Comprised of six Driver Interface Units (DIU) located at the argon, nitrogen and oxygen liquid fill points as well in the drivers mess room, the system integrated analysers from Servomex, Siemens and Control Analytique into two control cabinets to replace obsolete equipment previously installed. Meeco moisture analysers were installed in the field close to the sample points.

More recently, iGas has been enjoying two significant contract awards. Yara Praxair has awarded iGAS the ‘turnkey’ contract for its new cylinder filling plant in Kӧping, Sweden, while Buse Rijntechniek also chose iGAS for the ‘turnkey’ contract for its new cylinder filling plant in West Bromwich, UK.

The Yara Praxair deal includes the full engineering, design, install and commissioning to automatically fill industrial gases in pallets, bundles and single cylinders to settled pressures up to 300 barg with pure and mixed gases.

The iGas systems include the company’s latest ‘iVolve10′ technology to productively fill cylinders.

For Buse Rijntechniek, iGas’ scope includes the full engineering, design, install and commissioning to automatically fill fire suppressant gases in pallets and bundles to settled pressures up to 300 barg with both pure and mixed gases. These systems also include the ‘iVolve10′ technology to productively fill cylinders.

Meanwhile, iGAS has just recently announced that it is moving to new offices, effective as of 20th June 2011.

The new offices offer more space and have the benefit of improved transportation links and parking and Rob Lee, Managing Director of iGAS, commented, “The move to larger premises reflects our performance and growth. We are excited about the move, which will allow us to serve our clients even better, support our staff and give us the room to expand even further in the future.”

Still in the UK, iGas’ new address will be: iGAS Technology Solutions Ltd,
 Linden House – Suite B,
Woodside Park,
 Catteshall Lane,
Godalming,
Surrey,
GU7 1LG.
