Suretank has secured its first major US order since launching its new manufacturing facility in Houma, Louisiana in March – and is a multimillion dollar deal.
The $4m order from Hoover Container Solutions Inc, based in Houston, comprises of chemical transport tanks and containers for the safe transfer of chemicals and equipment for oil drilling to offshore deepwater rigs.
News of the contract comes as Suretank participates in a trade mission to Texas organised by Enterprise Ireland and led by the Irish Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mr. Richard Bruton TD.
