The Westfalen Group, an industrial gas manufacturer, has signed a new contract to continue its long-term collaboration with German automotive supplier, Hella.
The new contract will see the Münster-based group supply liquid nitrogen (N2) to two Hella sites in Lippstadt, as well as additional sites throughout Germany in Recklinghausen, Hamm and Bremen.
It is understood that the N2 will primarily be used in soldering furnances.
Alexander Fritsch-Albert, Head of Sales for Westfalen’s Gases Division, signed the contract and stated, “Hella’s and Westfalen’s corporate cultures and philosophies harmonise perfectly.”
The German industrial gas business currently supplies Hella with bottled argon (Ar), helium (He) and various others, as well as operating an on-site N2 production facility for Hella in Hamm.
Westfalen has been supplying the vehicle electronics manufacturer with industrial gases since 1966.
