gasworld is delighted to announce the addition of William (‘Bill’) J. Kroll, former executive chairman & senior managing executive officer, director of Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation (TNSC) and Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc., to its esteemed Editorial Advisory Board.
Kroll’s experience spans more than 40 years and includes executive management in almost every area of business, including 23 years of service to Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc., most recently as Chairman & CEO.
During his years with Matheson Tri-Gas, Kroll focused on the strategic direction and growth of the corporation, particularly the development of the corporation’s activities in the electronics market sector, which includes both compound and silicon semiconductors.
In more recent years, Kroll focused on the growth of Matheson Tri-Gas, implementing corporate culture changes that drove organic growth, and making several strategic acquisitions which led to dramatically increased revenues for the company.
Kroll’s responsibilities up to retirement included the continued vibrant growth of the business in other strategic geographic locations not currently covered by the corporation. His global vision highlights the South East Asia, Europe and North Africa and the UAE region in particular, where growth and new investment in people, assets and infrastructure was a credible option for the corporation.
Now retired, Kroll maintains an active interest in the industry through his consultancy, Kroll Partners LLC, and his newly confirmed role as an advisor to gasworld.
