Gas-related equipment manufacturer WITT-Gasetechnik has released a new data logging device to record pressure and temperature in inert gas packaging.
The new ‘Patbox’ data logger is fully contact-free and has been designed as a highly mobile solution for measuring pressure and temperature rapidly and accurately in the production line.
The compact instrument utilises integrated sensors to record pressure and temperature data via an OLED colour display and monitors inert gas packaging and control pressurised lines.
The Patbox registers measurements at intervals ranging from 100 milliseconds up to one minute, with its internal flash chip able to record 600,000 entries. Its measuring range extends from 1-2,000 millibar or 20-60°C.
The device communicates pressure and temperature data via the NFC standard and can be read via a smartphone or tablet app for Android.
Month on month the gasworld website continues to be the primary portal for information, on a global scale, about our industry - be it through the provision of news and features, or information in the expansive company directory section. Launched in 2004, it is the only independent online news provider and information portal for the global industrial gas community and the larger end-user markets. The website also now incorporates news for gasworld US and Specialty Gas Report.
