Witt has declared that its latest KM100-2MEM+ and KEM100-3MEM+ automated gas mixing system has the technology to allow adjustment of gas mixing ratios from a mobile phone.
With the new technology, engineers using technical gases on Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) lines can adjust the required gas mixing ratios from their mobile phone.
Automated electronic KM100+ gas mixers can be used with up to three technical gases and mix the gases using a motorised mixing valve, giving them a very accurate mixing capability with adjustments in increments of 0.1%.
Operation is unaffected by pressure variations in the gas supply or line speeds and sizes of the packages, while the mixers also feature an integrated process monitor with switching contact and interfaces for a PC or machine control.
