French on-site gas generation specialist, NOVAIR, has made a string of global generator installations as well as a national acquisition in recent months, solidifying the company’s base and worldwide offerings.
Back in April, Novair’s technical team commissioned a medical oxygen (O2) production system at Calmette Hospital in Cambodia. The corporation delivered two premium 620 O2 generators, which produce a flow of 37.2 Nm3/h and will cover the needs of the surgical, gynaecology and obstetrics departments.
The company’s next installation in April targeted the remote island of Saint Helena off the West coast of Africa. The newly instated containerised system, which was manufactured by NOVAIR’s OXYPLUS business unit, included two premium 90 O2 generators each producing 5 Nm3/h, a high-pressure cylinder filling system, a manifold and a double medical air production unit.
A press release explained, “This is a major step forward for the hospital and its patients, who do not have to rely on O2 deliveries coming from distant South Africa anymore.”
NOVAIR has thus strengthened its skills in medical gas services with a dedicated pool in the South of France and completes the group’s existing teams in Paris
Then in May, Novair installed an on-site nitrogen (N2) generator for Brazilian company OMRON. The Nitroplus 40 NOVAIR unit produces 56 m3/h of N2 at 99.9% purity and will be used to inert OMRON’s electronic and electrical component production lines at its factory in Vinhedo.
In addition, and to complement these installations, Novair has solidified its base in France with the acquisition of Gaz Medical Services – a specialist in the installation and servicing of gas piping networks within the medical sector, situated in Saint Aunes.
The media release stated, “NOVAIR has thus strengthened its skills in medical gas services with a dedicated pool in the South of France and completes the group’s existing teams in Paris.”
Financial details of these deals were not disclosed.
