Worthington Cylinders has increased the cost of refrigerant cylinders in response to market climate shift.
Worthington Cylinders, a subsidiary of Worthington Industries, has announced a 5% price increase on all non-refillable refrigerant cylinders. The change extends to all relevant cylinders produced at Worthington’s North American and European manufacturing sites.
Dusty McClintock, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Worthington Cylinders, reasoned, “Steel and corrugated prices have continued to advance over the past several months.” Prices will increase on all relevant cylinders shipped on or after 1st August 2010, or as existing agreements allow.
McClintock added, “Every effort has been made to minimise the impact of rising raw material costs. However, recent raw material pricing has significantly escalated our production costs and we must adjust pricing accordingly.”
