Air Products Canada has reaffirmed its commitment to hydrogen, having joined the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (CHFCA) as an Executive Member.

The industrial gas giant holds over 50 years of hydrogen experience, with its technologies currently being used in over 1.5 million hydrogen refuelling operations annually, across 20 countries.

With a focal point on Canada, Air Products, in conjunction with the Government of Canada and the Province of Alberts, recently announced the first phase of a multi-billion-dollar plan to build a landmark new net-zero hydrogen energy complex in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Now a member of CHFCA, the company will further support Canada and its hydrogen goals.

Commenting on its members, Eric Guter, Vice-President of Hydrogen Mobility Solutions at Air Products, said, “Air Products is pleased to join the CHFCA and its strong group of member companies providing leadership in the decarbonisation of the transportation sector through mobility solutions.

“We look forward to partnering with this visionary group to help Canada achieve its climate and energy transition goals.”
