The British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA) has been recognised in multiple categories for its ‘excellence, innovation, and best practice’ by the Trade Association Forum (TAF).

Shortlisted for Campaign of the Year, Leadership, Rising Star, Good Governance, and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award, the awards represent recognition in areas that the BCGA has focused on in the past two years, such as CSR, increasing public affairs work, and diversifying communication streams.

Ellen Daniels, CEO, BCGA, expressed her delight at being shortlisted for five awards, stating, “We’re looking to celebrating with our peers at the awards ceremony in February, which is also the first time BCGA has ever entered TAF awards.”

Trade Associations including the BCGA have played an ‘absolutely critical role’ in supporting the UK economy throughout the last two years, added Emily Wallace, Interim Chief Executive, TAF.

“We move forward, it is right to celebrate the achievements of the sector, recognise excellence and collaborate to improve the role that Associations can continue to play to support the economy for the future.”
