New Jersey-based Datacor has made its latest move to become a leader in business software for the industrial gas and welding supply industry, with the acquisition of Infonetics.

Formalising the transaction on Wednesday (21st July) the software company said the move will expand its offerings and is well aligned with its strategy to be a leader in the industrial gas and welding supply field.

The company, however, is no stranger to such market, having already established a strong presence in the market through its industry-specific ERP, CRM and container tracking software solutions with the purchase of TrackAbout in 2019.

Under the acquisition plans, David Frea, President of Infonetics, and his entire management team, will continue to manage the operation.

On this, Tom Jackson, President of Datacor, said, “David and his experience team have been highly successful and active in the industrial gas and welding supply industry for more than 30 years.”

“We are very pleased that David will continue to guid his talented team towards excellence and growth. We look forward to working together to provide cutting edge ERP and integrated asset management solutions to this specialised industry.”

Frea, added, “Joining the Datacor family expands the resources and product platforms available to our customers, include state-of-the-art software-as-a-service, integrated mobile application, asset tracking, e-commerce, credit-card payment features and more.”

“We look forward to working together as a leading provider of ERP and integrated asset management solutions to the packaged gas and chemical distribution markets.”
