Company Profile: Kaplan Industries

0

For over six decades, Kaplan Industries has been serving in the welding, beverage, and medical fields with compressed gas cylinders and equipment. The company’s story dates back to the early 1950s in a small building in Philadelphia when the Kaplan brothers – Morris and Albert Kaplan – founded an independent supply business serving local welding and fire-protection distributors. The brothers supplied these distributors with compressed gas cylinders and related equipment, which would, unknown at the time, led to a major role in the steel cylinder business.

Kaplan started to expand its geographical reach in 2019, when it implemented and invested in an international division that has now scaled to serve over 20 countries globally.
