Indiana Oxygen Co. is expanding its business with the addition of a new distribution centre in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The date of its opening was not specified and a press release simply stated the distribution centre will open, “in the near future.” It is known, however, that this site will mark the company’s 10th facility in the state of Indiana and the 11th in the Midwest of the US altogether.
The press release went on to state that the independently owned and operated business, “proudly serves the Midwest market with the highest level of customer service and expertise necessary to meet customers’ needs in order to compete in today’s business world.”
It continued to say that Indiana Oxygen, “looks forward to growth and development in northeast Indiana.”
Indiana Oxygen Co. is the oldest gas and welding supply distributor in the country and introduced the first industrial gas production plant in Indiana in 1915.
Linde North America has completed its new specialty gases plant in Hammond, Indiana. The plant, representing a significant investment, complements the current industrial and medical gas filling facilities and distribution activities in operation at the site.
