Mobile and static temporary site cabin manufacturer AJC Trailers has today launched a range of zero emission welfare units powered by Intelligent Energy’s fuel cell modules (FCM).
The new EcoSmart welfare cabin houses a 1kW FCM in a small storage area and also features an advanced solar power system which provides additional power on sunnier days.
With an increasing focus on reducing emissions in the construction industry, the launch of the EcoSmart welfare cabin is well-timed.
Lee Juby, Sales Director at Intelligent Energy, said, “Our FCMs are a viable power solution for the construction industry. They are quiet so can provide power round the clock, even in urban areas, they are zero emission and offer lower life cycle costs and minimal maintenance when compared to traditional diesel generators.”
“It is these attributes, along with reliability, ease of handling and integration that made them an ideal choice for AJC Trailers. We look forward to working with them as they launch their product to the market.”
