Lincoln Electric has launched an all-new simulator to make virtual welding training smarter, faster and more efficient as it looks to help build the future workforce for the industry.
Dubbed the VRTEX® 360, Lincoln’s latest release reduces the footprint needed for training while offering the same software and benefits of other VRTEX training models.
The use of virtual reality welding when training students both helps to build confidence and reduce mistakes as they safely train in a variety of virtual situations and orientations.
Denise Sirochman, Product Manager at Lincoln Electric, said, “The VRTEX 360 Compact trainer has all of the features that make it ideal for virtual welding labs of classroom use.”
“Thanks to its small footprint, it’s easy to install multiple units. We offer bundles of up to 20 unites, enabling schools to accelerate welding training by providing each student with their own trainer.”
“Eliminating shared machines speeds up classroom rotation, allowing instructors to teach ll students the same thing at the same time. This promotes advanced learning, quicker certification and more highly skilled welders entering the workforce.”
