AG&P LNG acquires 49% stake in Vietnam’s Cai Mep LNG terminal

AG&P LNG, a subsidiary of Nebula Energy, has acquired a 49% stake in the Cai Mep LNG terminal, located in Vũng Tàu district in South Vietnam.

The liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals and downstream infrastructure company today (8th March) confirmed its minority stake purchase of the three million tonnes per annum terminal.

Fully constructed, the Cai Mep LNG Terminal was developed by Hai Linh Company Limited, a petroleum product import terminal and trader in Vietnam.

Karthik Sathyamoorthy, CEO of AG&P LNG, said the terminal will play a pivotal role in enhancing energy security in Vietnam, paving the way for the energy transition.
