Air Liquide Canada donates $20,000 to Red Cross in support of wildfire relief efforts


Industrial gas major Air Liquide is supporting communities impacted by the ongoing wildfires across Canada by donating $20,000 to the Canadian Red Cross.

Hundreds of fires have swept through the country over the past few weeks, forcing tens of thousands of people to evacuate their homes.

According to Reuters, about 4.3 million hectares (10.6m acres) have already burned, roughly 15 times the annual average of the past decade.
