Air Liquide plant explosion injures four employees

An explosion at Air Liquide’s chemical plant in High Springs, Florida, has injured four of the industrial gas major’s employees, according to local media reports.

The explosion took place at Air Liquide Advanced Materials Florida on Thursday 4th May at approximately 4am ET.

In a statement provided to TV20, Air Liquide said four employees were transferred to a local hospital and three have since been released.

According to WCJB, the facility has been safely shut down. The High Springs Fire Department adds that there is no danger to the public.
