US-based high-pressure, oil-free compression technology specialist Hycomp has become part of the Atlas Copco Group.
Hycomp is located north of Salt Lake City, Utah, and has 37 employees. In 2023, the company had revenues of $8m.
Vagner Rego, President of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business, said, “Hycomp has extensive know-how in high-pressure oil-free compressors, and the acquired technology complements our existing technologies, allowing us to extend our current product range.”
Now acquired, Hycomp will become part of the professional air division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business.
