Compressor and vacuum solutions company Atlas Copco has acquired Climorent, a provider of specialty rental solutions for industrial cooling applications.
Based in Barcelona, Spain, Climorent has 15 employees and generated revenues of around €2m ($2.1m) in 2022. The company mainly services customers in general industry, including chemical and food and beverage.
Andrew Walker, President of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area, notes that climate change has increased the demand for efficient cooling solutions in industrial and other applications.
