Atlas Copco acquires two US-based medical gas system specialists
Atlas Copco has acquired William G Frank Medical Gas Testing and Consulting, a service and inspection supplier for medical gas systems, and Medical Gas Credentialing.
Both based in New Hampshire, US, the two businesses have the same owners and have a joint total of eight employees.
Together, the businesses provide medical and laboratory gas services to customers in New England, including inspections, consulting, parts supply, equipment sales, and training.
In 2022, the businesses had a joint revenue of approximately $2m.
Vagner Rego, President of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business, described both companies as well-respected businesses with an expansive service and inspection team covering the New England region.
Rego continued, “Their knowledge, technical expertise, agility, and customer relationships with strengthen our presence and speed up our business development in the area. The acquisition will enable us to further strengthen our position as a leading services supplier of medical gas solutions.”
The business will be integrated into BeaconMedaes, which is part of the Medical Gas Solutions Division in the Compressor Technique Business Area.
