Atlas Copco has signed a deal to acquire Sykes Group from Seven Group Holdings.
Based in Australia, Sykes is a global manufacturer of dewatering pumps, predominantly used for transferring water with solids and abrasive nature within the mining and wastewater sectors.
The company is headquartered in Newcastle, New South Wales, and has 123 employees.
Andrew Walker, President of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business, said that Sykes’ products completement Atlas Copco’s product portfolio well.
