UK hydrogen fuel cell company Bramble Energy (Bramble) will collaborate with engineering firm EDAG Group (EDAG) to conduct a digital investigation into integrating its patented printed circuit board fuel cell into EDAG’s electric vehicle (EV) storage platform.
The project, named FC-STORM, aims to create and showcase a design study of the 3D integration of Bramble’s hydrogen fuel cell system into EDAG’s storage platform designed for passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles.
According to the partners, the investigation will involve the design of a customised fuel cell stack in addition to the overall system layout fitting the EV platform, with vehicle simulation data supplying evidence for its feasibility.
