CarbonCure Technologies has been recognised on the 2022 CNBC Disruptor 50 List for its carbon dioxide (CO2) removal technologies for the concrete industry.
Based in Canada, CarbonCure has set itself a mission to annually reduce and remove 500 million metric tonnes of CO2 from the air by 2030, with a long-term vision to support the complete decarbonisation of concrete.
With nearly 600 systems sold to concrete producers across 25 countries, CarbonCure’s output of lower carbon concrete continues to double year over year, with the rapid adoption of hardware and software solutions.
Having now been recognised on the 2022 CNBC Disruptor 50 List, Carbon Cure joins previously recognised firms such as Airbnb, Pinterest, Spotify, Twitter and Uber.
