Go with the flow: The importance of a flow control

When it comes to flow measurement and control, you need reliability, accuracy and repeatability, but every application is a bit different. You also need the flexibility to optimise the unit for a given purpose or application. Flow meters and controllers are applied across a range of industries, operations and processes around the world.

Applications range from research processes through to production, with such units across the metallurgy, food and beverage, energy and hydrogen sectors, as well as many more besides.

Bespoke flow meter devices are deployed in low flows, for instance in gas sampling, mass spectrometry (MS) and flame control, while higher mass flow instruments have a growing role to play in environmental applications, not least hydrogen applications, as well as pharmaceuticals and biotech.
