Manufacturer of proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysers Ohmium International (Ohmium) has signed an agreement with modular membrane distillation technology company Aquastill to produce green hydrogen from seawater.
The collaboration aims to provide coastal business a more sustainable and affordable way of producing clean energy.
By integrating Aquastill’s modular desalination units with Ohmium’s electrolyser technology, the partners will also facilitate new applications for cost-effective green hydrogen production, including co-locating PEM electrolysers with offshore wind farms.
