PowerTap Hydrogen has signed a non-binding letter of intent for the sale of food grade carbon dioxide (CO2) and fuelling grade hydrogen to Coleman Industrial Gases.
With hopes of securing a definite offtake agreement by the end of 2023, the plans with PowerTap are hoped to benefit both Coleman Industrial Gases and its affiliate CMC Dry Ice Manufacturing.
The partnership will see PowerTap deploy its unique on-site hydrogen production and fuelling equipment at multiple sites, simultaneously capturing and storing CO2 for use in various projects.
This move supports the refuelling of fuel cell electric trucks and enables Coleman to meet its growing customer demands while significantly reducing emissions.
