A-OX Welding and A&B Welding Supply, two South Dakota-based distributors of industrial, specialty, and medical gases, as well as welding and safety supplies, have partnered with Meritus Gas Partners.
It was announced today (11th February) that the two companies, with a combined eight locations in North and South Dakota and Iowa, have joined the packaged gas distribution platform.
Both A-OX and A&B are separate businesses that have been owned and operated by the Elliott family since their inception. As part of Meritus, co-owners and brothers, Tom and Michael Elliot, will continue to lead the companies.
Tom Elliot, CEO of A-OX, said, “When we contemplated A-OX’s and A&B’s future, it was important to us to honour our family’s legacy. We chose to partner with Meritus to maintain our company’s independence and to protect the integrity of the businesses our family and local employees continue to build.”
