Since the surge in demand that ensued amidst the Covid-19 crisis, however, healthcare providers – alongside their supply chain partners – have been forced to take stock to ensure future emergency preparedness. Reviewing existing hospital infrastructure and procurement routes has been key to ensuring long-term resilience.

As emergency settings seek to extend capacities and conserve life-giving gases wherever possible, the entire healthcare ecosystem now has an opportunity to re-think supply and demand, finding ways to gain greater control when it comes to the most appropriate and responsible management of oxygen use.
