Total Helium has appointed Robert Johnston, current Director of the company, as its interim CEO, effective immediately.
With Johnston’s appointment, Total Helium has accepted the resignation of Robert Price as CEO and Director of the company and has thanked him for his contributions.
Johnston established Atalaya Resources in 2014, a private oil and gas exploration company operated in West Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle. The company was sold in 2022.
He has served as a Director of Total Helium since November 2021.
In the past week, Total Helium has confirmed that nine wells at its flagship Pinta South Project have been connected to a six-mile pipeline that will transport gas to Ranger Development’s third-party processing facility before sale to a large industrial gas company.
The helium exploration and production company confirmed the progress in a recent update which also confirmed that an additional 10 wells are in various stages of completion and pipeline connection.
