WEH outlines product range in components catalogue

Gas system component developer WEH has highlighted its catalogue of industrial gas components for the assembly of safe gas technical systems and plants.

Having developed technologies for global gas manufacturers for over 40 years, WEH has targeted the production of components required for systems for filling, mixing, evacuating and discharging gases.

“The WEH Components catalogue for the assemble of safe gas technical systems and plants combines this extensive product range for gas technology,” said a company spokesperson.

This range also includes filters for clean filtered gas, check valves for reliable backflow protection and vacuum pressure relief modules to protect the pump.

“The portfolio is rounded off with quick connectors for filling, testing and evacuating gas cylinders.”

The firm also delivers shut-off valves for inert gases and oxygen, enabling high flow rates, low flow noise and lightweight design, suitable for venting gas bottles down to atmospheric pressure.

To discharge the gas into the atmosphere, the shut-off valve is opened and then closed again. For the remaining gas to be drawn from the bottle, another shut-off valve is opened and the vacuum pump is activated, allowing gas cylinders to be vented completely.

Within the industrial gas sector, shut-off valves play a key role in controlling the flow of gases within complex systems. These valves ensure safety by halting gas flow during emergencies or maintenance procedures, averting potential hazards like leaks or overpressure.

“The filling process can now be started. The WEH TSF4 particle filter can be installed in front of the shut-off valve to clean the gas from the storage tank of dirt particles. This ensures that the gases are reliably filtered,” says WEH.

The gas in turn goes through the valves and the connector into the bottles.

According to the company, it has sold over 100,000 of its quick connectors across the globe, facilitating industries ranging from medical to food.

WEH recently expanded its product portfolio by acquiring the product range of baromax GmbH from Norderstedt.

“In economically challenging times, we are particularly pleased to send a position signal with this expansion of our portfolio,” said Wolfgang Weh, Managing Director.
