Pale Blue Dot Energy (PBD) has been awarded a contract from HMG Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to review a range of business models for carbon dioxide (CO2) transport and storage.
The project will take place over the next two months and will examine models which have been used successfully overseas and for other types of infrastructure, as well as those that have been proposed for the delivery and operation of C02 infrastructure in the UK.
This work builds on the 10-year carbon capture and storage (CCS) track record of the PBD team, which includes delivery of a major project for the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), BEIS predecessor, regarding strategic UK CO2 storage appraisal.
gasworld is thrilled to announce John Scowcroft of the Global CCS Institute as the opening keynote speaker for its CO2 Summit, taking place in Innsbruck, Austria from 6th-7th March, 2017.
Canadian corporation CarbonCure Technologies is reimagining carbon dioxide (CO2) in the battle to help solve climate change, retrofitting concrete plants with a technology that recycles waste CO2 into a valuable material to help make more environmentally friendly concrete.
Month on month the gasworld website continues to be the primary portal for information, on a global scale, about our industry - be it through the provision of news and features, or information in the expansive company directory section. Launched in 2004, it is the only independent online news provider and information portal for the global industrial gas community and the larger end-user markets. The website also now incorporates news for gasworld US and Specialty Gas Report.
