Refrigerant gas supply and lifecycle management specialist A-Gas has received approval for one of the first carbon projects developed for the Washington State Department of Ecology.
The company this week (30th January) confirmed approval for the issuance of Ecology Offset Credits by the Washington State Department of Ecology, the regulatory agency responsible for the state’s compliance with the carbon market.
A-Gas’ project collects refrigerant gases from Washington State with its Rapid Recovery on-site refrigerant recovery service, Rapid Exchange on-demand cylinder swap service, and from distributor partners.
