Bluefors adds new measurement system in its Delft lab

0

Bluefors Lab has added a new cryogenic measurement system to its Delft, Netherlands-based lab.

The XLD1000sl Dilution Refrigerator, or XLDsl for short, offers a large experimental space and extensive wiring capabilities. The system will be used by many Bluefors customers in demanding experiments.

Inside the XLDsl, the cryogenic measurement infrastructure features a microwave readout module, which has a travelling wave parametric amplifier (TWPA) and all the connected components needed to amplify very weak microwave signals.

Alongside the new system, the original setup of the lab has also been upgraded. Extra measurement electronics from Qblox have been added to the base configuration of the LD Dilution Refrigerator, expanding its capabilities to enable five-qubit measurements.
