Delfin LNG, a subsidiary of Delfin Midstream, has signed a 15-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales and purchase agreement with energy trading company Gunvor Singapore.
The deal will see Delfin supply between 0.5 and 1.0 million tonnes of LNG per annum to Gunvor on a free-on-board basis from the Delfin deepwater port, located off the coast of Louisiana.
Delfin has been developing the LNG deepwater water port project to support four floating LNG vessels, with a combined export capacity of up to 13.3 million tonnes per annum.
The company has secured commercial agreements for LNG sales and liquefaction services and is in the final phase of making a financial investment decision on its first three vessels.
