Taken out of the company’s Biogaz Gardanne project, the tests show that steam-oxygen gasification technology can be applied at commercial scale on plants seeking to produce advanced biofuels.

The tests were undertaken at the company’s LERMAB facility, essentially a smaller version of a commercial-scale plant with end-to-end capabilities for feedstock conversion into synthesis gas (syngas).
