Taiwan-based semiconductor manufacturer HTC has opened a new North American headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, to support the growing electronics market.
Unveiled today (12th June), HTC-America brings HTC’s vacuum technology experience to the US and will provide faster time to market for its growing customer base in the US.
The establishment of HTC-America is part of HTC’s long-term strategic growth plan to provide customised semiconductor fab and super-fab equipment and service solutions to existing and new fabs in the US.
Kevin Zarkar, Senior Vice-President of Business Development for HTC-America, said “Having closer proximity to our US-based customers will help to enhance on-site service and support, industry collaboration, and our ability to provide customised solutions.”
