Air Separation Units (ASUs)

Linde North America has begun the process for a major overhaul of two of its air separation units (ASUs) after renewing long-term contracts with two of its major tonnage customers.

MATHESON has entered into an agreement with Sasol to supply tonnage oxygen and nitrogen to Sasol’s world-scale ethane cracker, which is part of Sasol’s $8.1bn expansion in Lake Charles, LA.  

Air Liquide Canada will construct of a new oxygen pipeline in Hamilton, Ontario, with the support of Horizon Utilities and the Ontario Power Authority’s saveONenergy Program.

Air Products has entered into an agreement with Sibur-Khimprom, a subsidiary of Sibur Holding, to build a new air separation unit in Perm (Russia) and to supply the facility with locally produced gases.
